Justified Contraries
Life is filled with justified contraries
Talking something lame,
And blaming it on caffeine
Telling a lie,
And quoting it a white
Wishing for unreachable and unthinkable,
And naming that impossible.
Is this all me?
With insane insistence,
For what I believe in
With buried affection,
For folks that are mine
And With an inexplicable concern,
For people that are unknown.
Is this also me?
Yes I realize; it’s not Life that is filled with these justified contraries,
But a duo of me!
